A new Huawei smartphone with model number GLK-AL00 / TL00 has been spotted on the website of China’s TENAA telecom authority. Based on the previous reports, it can be assumed that it is the upcoming Huawei Nova 5i smartphone. The TENAA listing of the phone has no images but contains its entire specifications. The smartphone is expected to debut by the end of the month in China. It is very likely to arrive with Huawei Nova 5 that may arrive with flagship specs.
The TENAA listing of the Huawei Nova 5i states that its dimensions are 159.1 x 75.9 x 8.3mm and it weighs 179 grams. The smartphone is fitted with a 6.3-inch IPS LCD panel. Rumors surrounding it have claimed that it may house a display with punch-hole design. It will carry support for 1080 x 2310 pixels resolution.
The Kirin 710 chipset will be powering the Nova 5i’s 6 GB and 8 GB RAM editions. Both models may feature 128 GB of native storage. It will be powered by a 3,900mAh battery. The big battery of the phone will lack support for fast charging. The back panel of the phone will have a 24-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel + ToF sensor quad camera setup. For shooting selfies, it will be featuring a frontal shooter of 24-megapixel. The Android 9 Pie OS on the device will be overlaid the EMUI 9 skin. The device will lack support for expandable storage. In certain markets, the phone may debut as Huawei P20 Lite (2019).
