Last month, Huawei announced the Huawei Nova 8 SE smartphone. Since then, it is being speculated that the other Nova 8 series phones will be made official in December. According to a tipster from China, new Nova 8 series smartphones may go official on Dec. 23.
The leak reveals that the Nova 8 and Nova 8 Pro will be announced on Dec. 23. The tipster has claimed that the Chinese manufacturer will be also unveiling the Huawei Enjoy 20 SE and Huawei Watch Fit at the same event. These devices could be powered by the Kirin chipset.
This leak is in line with the leaked information that had appeared last week, which claimed that the Nova 8 and 8 Pro will be unveiled on Dec. 23. However, that leak did not reveal other products that will be revealed along with the Nova 8 phones.
Last week’s leak had claimed that the Nova 8 will be priced at 3,000 Yuan ($459) and the Nova 8 Plus could be costing 4,000 Yuan ($612). Recent reports have claimed that the Nova 8 duo will be sporting a dual punch-hole display. They may carry support for 90Hz refresh rate. There are speculations that the Plus model’s screen will have curved edges.
There is no word on the specifications of the Huawei Enjoy 20 SE. As far as the Huawei Watch Fit is concerned, this could be the same device that launched in global markets in August. The smartwatch comes with a 1.64-inch AMOLED display with an Always-on Display feature, 12 kinds of workout modes, built-in GPS, 24-hour heart rate tracker, and up to 10 days of battery life.
