Huawei’s Nova Flip, the company’s Nova-branded clamshell phone, is now available for pre-orders in China. The phone, which is set to launch on Aug. 5, is confirmed to come in shades, such as New Green, Sakura Pink, Zero White, and Starry Black. However, the brand has not revealed anything else about the device. In a recent Weibo post, reliable leaker Digital Chat Station leaked almost everything about the Nova Flip. Here is a look at what to expect from the device.
Huawei Nova Flip specifications (rumored)
According to DCS, the Huawei Nova Flip will feature a 6.94-inch OLED external display with a resolution of 2690 x 1136 pixels, supporting a variable refresh rate from 1Hz to 120Hz and a maximum brightness of 1200 nits. On the outside, the device will offer a 2.14-inch OLED cover screen with a 60Hz refresh rate.
Powered by the Kirin 9-series chip, the Nova Flip will be available in three storage variants: 12GB RAM with either 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB of internal storage. It will pack a 4,400mAh battery with 66W fast charging support.
The camera setup includes a 32-megapixel front camera for selfies and a rear dual camera system on the back. The latter comprises a 50-megapixel main RYYB sensor with an 1/1.56-inch camera sensor coupled with an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens that also functions as a macro camera.
When folded, the phone measures 15.08mm in thickness with a plain leather back and 15.12mm with a glass back. In its unfolded state, it is 6.88mm thick with a plain leather finish and 6.9mm with glass. The device weighs 195 grams with the plain leather back and 199 grams with the glass back.

According to other sources, the Nova Flip will be priced between 5,000 Yuan ($690) and 6,000 Yuan ($830) in China. It is unclear whether the device will be released in the global market.
