A new set of leaked renders of the Huawei P10 have emerged suggesting the device would come in two versions, one with a straight screen and another with curved edge display screen. The leaked renders surfaced via popular Huawei tipster @ichangezone on Weibo and really would n’t come as a surprise as this isn’t the first time Huawei is using such. But what is surprising is the suggestion that the P10 would feature a rear fingerprint sensor as revealed on the rear view of the render of the curved version. Also, the curved edge version will have a ring flash at the rear.
It would be recalled that the Huawei Mate 9 featured a straight screen while Huawei also included a curved edge version which it called Huawei Mate 9 Pro. There was also a premium Mate 9 Porsche Design with dual curved edge display as well as the Porsche branding. Huawei may have decided to toe that same line on the P10, perhaps buoyed by the success of the Mate 9 and its variants.
The Huawei P10 was recently revealed to be coming in a variety of colors and would have high-capacity audio from Yamaha and Harman Kardon. The device is also coming with a 5.5-inch QHD AMOLED display and is expected to be powered by the Kirin 960 chipset with an octa-core processor clocked at 2.3GHz.
In addition, a Mali G71 GPU is also expected onboard while there will be 6GB of RAM and 256GB of storage inside the device.
