A recent report has suggested that Samsung will be holding its unveil event for Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ flagship on Feb. 27 during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018 event. Fresh details shared by popular leakster Roland Quandt claims that Huawei will be launching the P11 flagship phone in Q1 2018.
The Huawei P10 series smartphones were unveiled at the MWC 2017 event this year. Hence, it is speculated that the Chinese firm will be using the same platform to announce the upcoming P11 flagship. He has stated that the Huawei will be focusing on the camera and AI features of the P11.
So the Huawei P11 seems to be a Q1 2018 thing (again). We were just promised "exciting new products" with a focus on camera and AI for Q1 at a local german Huawei Xmas event. Could be MWC like the P10.

Talking about the camera of P11, reliable tipster Evan Blass has recently claimed that the next-generation P-series smartphone from Huawei will be arriving with a 40-megapixel triple-lens Pro camera certified by Leica. It is rumored to house a Leica branded 24-megapixel front-facing camera.
For AI, the Huawei P11 is heavily pegged to be powered by the Kirin 970 chipset that is present under the hood of the recent Huawei Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro smartphones. It features a dedicated Neural Processing Unit (NPU) for handling AI tasks. There is a possibility that the upcoming P11 phones may arrive with more AI capabilities than what’s available on Mate 10 and 10 Pro.
Recent leaks have revealed that the Huawei P11 could be codenamed as EMILY. It may arrive with a 6.01-inch display enabled with a notch like the one found on the Apple iPhone X.
