The Huawei P30 that was unveiled earlier this has a model number of ELE-AL00/TL00 in China. Today, a new variant of the phone with model number ELE-AL00m has been approved by the TENAA authority in China. The specs of the ELE-AL00m are same as the Huawei P30 phone that went official in China in April. However, one major difference is that the newly certified model has 12 GB of RAM.
The Huawei ELE-AL00m measures 149.1 x 71.36 x 7.57mm and it weighs 165 grams. It houses a 6.1-inch AMOLED display with a waterdrop notch. It supports full HD+ resolution and it is embedded with an in-display fingerprint reader. The smartphone is packed with a 3,550mAh minimum capacity battery. Its typical capacity will be 3,650mAh. It carries support for rapid charging.
Apart from 6 GB RAM + 64 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage variants, TENAA has approved 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage edition of the Huawei ELE-AL00m. The handset is loaded with Android 9 Pie OS. For photography, it features 40-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 16-megapixel triple rear-facing cameras and a frontal shooter of 32-megapixel.
The Huawei P30 is already selling in variants like 8 GB + 64 GB, 8 GB + 128 GB and 8 GB + 256 GB respectively for 3,988 Yuan, 4,288 Yuan and 4,788 Yuan. The TENAA certification reveals that the Chinese firm may release two new variants of the P30 such as 6 GB + 64 GB and 12 GB + 256 GB in the home market.
