Huawei P30 with Dual-color Design Coming Soon?

According to the latest patents submitted by Huawei to the EUIPO (European Union Intellectual Property Office), it seems like the Chinese smartphone maker will soon be introducing two new color variants for their Huawei P30 flagship.

The new color variants will apparently split the Huawei P30’s rear panel into two different color schemes. The top one-third of the device will have a different color scheme as the bottom. This is definitely something we’d yet to see in Huawei smartphones so far.

From the two patents submitted, one of which shows the top one-third of the device in a Light Blue shade, while the bottom of the device has what seems to be the Breathing Crystal hue.

The second patent on the other hand, shows the device having a black paint job for the top portion and a Light Gray shade for it’s bottom portion. This kinda remind us of the first generation’s Google Pixel phone which also features such dual-color design for it’s back panel.

As of now, there is no official confirmation if the aforementioned color options will indeed be rolled out to the P30. However, reports have suggested that it could made it’s debut during the upcoming IFA 2019 event which will kick off on September 6th.
