Huawei will launch the Huawei P40 and Huawei P40 Pro smartphones by the end of March 2020. Rumors have it hat the Huawei P40 Lite is also included in the P40 family. The P40 Lite is said to be the rebranded version of the Nova 6 SE phone that was unveiled recently. Months ahead of the launch, 91mobiles has collaborated with reputed leakster @OnLeaks to share the first renders of the Huawei P40 series.
Huawei P40 and P40 Pro Design
The Huawei P40 and P40 Pro phones are equipped with a rectangular camera module on their back. Such rectangular camera module have been gaining popularity among recent smartphones as seen in the Honor V30 Pro and Samsung Galaxy A51.
The exact number of cameras are not visible in the new renders. However, it is speculated that the P40 Pro may feature as many as five cameras on its rear. The back panels of the P40 models are made out of glass. Both phones are expected to arrive full-display design on the front.
The P40 may house a 6.1-inch or 6.2-inch display whereas the P40 Pro may come with a 6.5-inch or 6.7-inch screen. The P40 is said to come with a flat panel, while the “Pro” version will have a quad-curved panel. These OLED panels will be equipped with in-screen fingerprint reader.
The bottom edge of the P40 and P40 Pro feature a USB-C port, a SIM card tray and a speaker grille. There is no 3.5mm audio jack on the device. The volume buttons and power key are placed on the right edge of both models.
