Huawei P40 Pro+ will finally arrive in Singapore on June 27th

The wait is over! Huawei has announced that the much awaited Huawei P40 Pro+ will finally arrives in Singapore on June 27th. As its name suggests, this model will be a bumped up version of the current Huawei P40 Pro which will see significant upgrades to its camera capabilities.

Retailing at S$1,898 for its sole 8GB+512GB Ceramic White model, the Huawei P40 Pro+ is definitely not the usual flagship phones in the market. It is an ultra-premium flagship model which will compete head on with the likes of the OPPO Find X2 Pro (review), as well as the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G.

Huawei P40 Pro Plus Camera System

The key highlights of the Huawei P40 Pro+ lies in its powerful penta-cameras setup which consists of a 50 megapixels “UltraVision” RYYB sensor, 40 megapixels ultra-wide cine lens, 8 megapixels 3x periscope optical lens, 8 megapixels 10x periscope optical lens, as well as a ToF camera.

The perfect combination of its telephoto lens allow the device to achieve up to 100x digital zoom which will put it on par as the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra in this aspect. Comparatively, the Huawei P40 Pro is only able to support only up to 5x optical zoom and as much as 50x digital zoom.

Besides that, other attractive features of its rear camera system also include the latest Huawei XD Fusion Engine which is said to enable faster processing of data with “unmatched clarity at the pixel level”.

In terms of availability, the Huawei P40 Pro+ will be available islandwide starting June 27th via local telcommunications operators (M1, Singtel and StarHub); Huawei Concept Stores and Huawei official online stores in Lazada and Shopee,as well as authorised retailers (Best Denki, Challenger, COURTS and Harvey Norman).

Early birds who pre-order the device from now till June 26th will be entitled to a free premium bundle which include the newly launched HUAWEI Sound X (worth S$498), HUAWEI SuperCharge WirelessStand (worth S$148), as well as a protective phone cover (worth S$48).
