Huawei unveiled the Huawei P50 Pocket clamshell phone with a foldable screen in December 2021 in China. At that time, the company launched in two configurations. Today, it introduced the third variant of the device in China. Here is all the information on the P50 Pocket’s new variant.
As can be seen in the poster, the Huawei P50 Pocket’s latest variant offers 8 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. It is priced at 9,988 yuan ($1,470). It comes in black and white color variants. The new variant is now up for purchase in China.
The new variant will be sold alongside the P50 Pocket’s two other models, such as 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage and 12 GB RAM + 512 GB storage. These models were priced at the launch at 8,988 Yuan ($1,310) and 10,898 Yuan ($1,600), respectively. While the former comes in black and white colors, the latter comes in special gold color.
Huawei P50 Pocket Specifications
The Huawei P50 Pocket has a 6.9-inch foldable OLED panel that offers a 2,790 x 1,188 pixels resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 300Hz touch sampling rate. It has a 10.7-megapixel front-facing camera.
The rear camera setup of the Huawei P50 Pocket has a 40-megapixel main camera, a 13-megapixel ultrawide snapper, and a 32-megapixel ultra-spectrum camera. The device runs on the Harmony OS 2.
The Snapdragon 888 4G mobile platform powers the Huawei P50 Pocket. The device ships with up to 12 GB of LPPDR5 RAM and up to 512 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It is backed by a 4,100mAh battery that offers 40W fast charging.
