Huawei launched the P8 Lite in 2015, perhaps in order to milk the success of the flagship P8 released same year. The company seems not to be letting go of the mid-range device as what is likely the specs and renders of the Huawei P8 Lite 2017 has leaked.
According to the leaked data, the Huawei P8 2017 will come with a 5.2-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1080pixels and 2.5D arc glass. The device will be powered by a Kirin 655 processor which is an octa-core processor with a frequency of 1.7GHz. The processor also integrates a Mali-T830 MP2 GPU. The processor is similar to the one used on the Honor 6X.
In addition, the device packs 3GB of RAM as well as 16GB of internal storage which is expandable via microSD. The P8 Lite (2017) features dual nanoSIM card slots as well as a 3,000mAH battery. At the rear will sit a 12MP single camera with PDAF support and f/2.2 aperture.
At the front end, there is an 8MP camera with f/2.0 aperture. The P8 Lite (2017) also features a micro USB 2.0 interface, rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and connectivity options like WLAN 802.11n, Bluetooth 4.1, as well as NFC.
The Huawei P8 Lite 2017 comes preloaded with the latest Android 7.0 Nougat-based EMUI 5.0 and would likely be launched in the UK on February 1, exclusive to Vodafone UK.
