Following the high-profile product launch event held back in July this year where Huawei announced several noteworthy products including the brand new HarmonyOS-powered Huawei MatePad 11 and MatePad Pro (Review) tablets as well as the MateView monitors, the company has now confirmed that it will be holding another global launch event on October 21st in Vienna.
Although the company doesn’t specifically reveal any information relating to the products that will be launched during the event, but it’s official teaser does come with a silhouette of what seems to be the side profile of a smartphone. Therefore, it’s highly possible that we’re looking at a smartphone launch for the global market this time round.
However, whether it’s the Huawei P50 series smartphone that were recently announced in the Chinese market or the upcoming Huawei Nova 9 series smartphones, it is something that remains under the wrap at the moment.
What’s interesting is that these devices are also likely to be the first batch of Huawei smartphones which are shipped with the company’s proprietary HarmonyOS out of the box. As usual, we’ll probably find out more details about these upcoming smartphones as we edge closer towards it’s October 21st launch date.
