In May, Huawei had launched the Huawei Y3 (2018) as it first Android Go smartphone. Now it has announced the Huawei Y5 Lite as its next Android Go device. The smartphone has gone official in Pakistan and it is expected to release in other developing markets in the near future.
Huawei Y5 Lite Specifications, Features and Price
The Huawei Y5 Lite comes with a 5.45-inch IPS LCD screen. The FullView display produces HD+ resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9. The MediaTek MT6739 chipset with 1.5 GHz quad-core processor powers the phone along with 1 GB of RAM.
The internal storage of the smartphone is 16 GB. There is a dedicated microSD card slot for adding more storage on the device. The Android Go edition of the Android 8.1 Oreo OS is preloaded on the phone.
For photography, it features 8-megapixel camera with LED flash and autofocus and an LED-equipped with 5-megapixel frontal shooter. The handset draws power from 3,020mAh battery.
The Huawei Y5 Lite carries a price tag of PKR 16,500 (~$118) in Pakistan. The handset can be availed in Black or Blue. Huawei is yet to confirm on the markets that will be receiving the Y5 Lite smartphone.
