Huawei has quietly announced a new budget-centric smartphone – Huawei Y6s – which comes with licensed Google apps and services out of the box.
On paper, the new Huawei Y6s shares pretty much the same specs as the Y6 Pro (2019) except for a buffed up SoC and bigger storage space.
Huawei Y6s Specifications
To start off, the Huawei Y6s features a 6.09-inch IPS LCD display with 1560 x 720 pixels screen resolution which offers a decent 283 PPI density.
The device is driven by an octa-core Helio P35 SoC coupled with 3GB of RAM and an option between 32GB/ 64GB native storage space.
Under the camera compartment, there will be a single 13 megapixels (f/1.8 aperture) main snapper on it’s rear panel, as well as a 8 megapixels (f/2.0 aperture) front-facing selfie camera.
The Huawei Y6s is fueled by a 3,020mAh non-removable battery and runs on the EMUI 9.1 (based on Android 9.1).
It will be offered in two color options namely Orchid Blue and Starry Black.

The Huawei Y6s is already available for purchase in the Philippines and is also expected to on sale in other Asian markets soon.
The device is priced at PHP6,999 (US$137) for the 3GB+64GB model.
