Recently, we’d already heard about the existence of the Huawei Y9a after the device gained its certification from the EEC authority. This device, bearing the model number FRL-AN00a, had already been listed on Chinese Telecom along with its official renders and specs in toll.
However, based on a newly leaked promo banner of the device, it seems like the global variant of the Huawei Y9a will arrive with some slight differences from the Chinese variant which will be marketed as the Enjoy 20 Plus. More specifically, the global variant will have four cameras instead of just three.
In terms of design, the upcoming Huawei Y9a will feature an unblemished front display which will be free of notches or hole-punches courtesy of its elevating selfie camera – similar to what we’d seen on several other Y-series smartphones including the Y9s.
Over on its rear, the device has a circular camera housing which shares a close resemblance to the “Halo Ring” design of the current Mate 30 series smartphones. It houses a quad-cameras system consisting of a 64 megapixels main camera, 8 megapixels ultra-wide, 2 megapixels macro, as well as a 2 megapixels depth sensor.
On top of that, the promo banner also confirmed that the Huawei Y9a will be offered in an 8GB+128GB memory configuration and will come with support for 40W Huawei SuperCharge as well.
As of the rest of the specs, they remain a mystery for the time being. Since the promo banners of the device had already been rolled out, we believe that its official launch wouldn’t be far away.
