Recently, there were reports about an upcoming Infinix smartphone that will reportedly supports up to 160W fast-charging. Now, it seems like we’d finally gotten some confirmation on the existence of this device after Infinix posted a fresh teaser depicting the silhouette of a phone alongside a ”160W Charging” wording.
Although the actual specs of the phone remain largely a mystery at the moment, but the 160W fast-charging support alone is a good indication that the phone is likely to be a flagship model.
In fact, the 120W fast-charging solution on the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra and iQOO 7 is currently the fastest we have in the market, but this will soon be surpassed by the upcoming Infinix smartphone.
Based on it’s earlier leaked render published by XDA-Developers, this device features a curved display upfront that comes with a hole-punch cutout on the upper-left corner of the screen. Though there’s no official confirmation on this, but we’re likely to be looking at an OLED panel with in-display fingerprint scanner.
Around the back of the phone, we’ll be greeted by an extra-large “NOW” branding as well as a pretty huge camera module which houses a triple-cam setup. These cameras are likely to be a primary shooter, ultra-wide lens, as well as periscope lens (as you can tell from it’s square-shape opening).
That’s pretty much all we have for now, but let’s hope to hear more about this exciting handset in the coming days.
