Apple is quite a trendsetter in the smartphone industry. After introducing new features like dual cameras, full screen design and facial recognition on its smartphones, various manufacturers are launching phones with these features. Even though the sizes of flagship phones have been increasing, Apple’s 4-inch iPhone SE that was released in the previous year managed to receive rave review. Speculations have it that Apple may soon debut second generation iPhone SE in the coming year.
According to Chinese media, recent reports have revealed that the iPhone SE has been one of the top selling smartphones from the company in many regions. Hence, the Cupertino based company is rumored the iPhone SE 2 as early as in the second half of 2018.
As far as specs are concerned, the iPhone SE 2 is speculated to come with similar specs as last year’s iPhone 7 smartphone. Hence, the iPhone 7 is rumored to feature Apple A10 chipset. It is expected to retain the 4-inch display as well as the Touch ID sensor. Rumors have it that it may be priced similarly as the original iPhone SE. In China, it may cost around 2,988 Yuan (~$450).
