iQOO 12 series is officially confirmed to launch on Nov. 7 in China. It is likely that the iQOO 12 may also release in the global market in the same month. Ahead of the expected launch, tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed the configurations of the iQOO 12 lineup.
According to the tipster, the iQOO 12 series will come in SKUs such as 1 GB RAM + 256 GB storage, 16 GB RAM + 256 GB storage, 16 GB RAM + 512 GB storage, and 16 GB RAM + 1 TB storage. To recall, the iQOO 11 and 11 Pro were made available in 8 GB RAM variants. DCS claimed that there will be no 8 GB RAM variant for the iQOO 12 duo.
Furthermore, the leak states that the iQOO 12 series will include a red variant featuring a simple leather back. The brand released an official teaser (shown above) showcasing the design of this red version. Additionally, the iQOO 12 and 12 Pro will offer glass-back models in white and black color choices. The white variation will be a collaborative design with the BMW M Motorsport brand, featuring a BMW logo and its distinctive tricolor stripes on the rear. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset will power both smartphones. As per reports, the iQOO 12 will have a 6.78-inch BOE OLED display with a flat design that offers a 1.5K resolution, whereas the 12 Pro will be equipped with a 6.78-inch curved-edge E7 AMOLED screen that delivers a 2K resolution. Both phones will support a 144Hz refresh rate and 120W fast charging. The Pro variant will also have 50W wireless charging. The iQOO 12 and 12 Pro will pack 5,000mAh and 5,100mAh batteries, respectively.
The iQOO 12 series will have a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. Both phones are expected to feature a 50-megapixel OmniVision OV50H primary camera with OIS support, a 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel OV64B periscope telephoto camera.
