The rumor mill has been steadily leaking details about the iQOO 13, which is expected to debut in China this November. However, previous leaks had not revealed much about the device’s camera. Today, tipster Digital Chat Station shared key details once again, including the phone’s camera specifications.
According to DCS’ Weibo post, the iQOO 13 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset and feature a 2K flat display. He added that it will have a BOE screen, and its parameters will be similar to those of the BOE X1. Improvements have been made to reduce the size of all four bezels, enhancing the overall screen experience.
On the back, the iQOO 13 will sport a camera module located in the top-left corner, housing three 50-megapixel sensors. It appears that the device will continue to sport a squircle camera module like the iQOO 12. In other words, the design of the camera island will be similar to Xiaomi’s newly redesigned logo.
The design language remains largely unchanged from its predecessor, though a new “Rococo White” color variant is being tested on the engineering prototype. The current focus of the device’s development is on optimizing performance to ensure a top-tier user experience.
According to other reports, the iQOO 13 will be an IP68-rated device featuring a metal middle frame and a glass back featuring a light strip design. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset and a 6,000mAh battery that supports 100W charging. For security, t may feature an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor.
