Recent reports suggest that smartphone manufacturers will equip their upcoming flagship phones with Samsung displays, with launches expected by the end of this year. A new leak from tipster Digital Chat Station not only claims that the iQOO 15 series will feature a Samsung display but also reveals its key specifications.
iQOO 15 Pro display specifications (rumored)

In the above Weibo post, DCS has revealed that an upcoming iQOO smartphone will sport a 6.85-inch 2K LTPO OLED panel, manufactured by Samsung Display. Additionally, it is said that the display, which has a flat design, will utilize LIPO (Low-Temperature Polycrystalline Oxide) technology, which could enhance power efficiency and display performance. While the behemoth screen size suggests that this leak pertains to the iQOO 15 Pro, it is unclear whether the iQOO 15 also have the same screen.
iQOO unveiled the iQOO 13 in October 2024. Therefore, it is likely that the iQOO 15 series may debut around the same time this year. While the previous generation only included a single model, the 15 lineup is said to have a standard and a Pro edition. As far as the moniker is concerned, reports suggest that the brand may skip the “iQOO 14” branding as the number “4” is considered a bad omen in some Asian countries.
The iQOO 15 series is expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset, which is expected to go official in October of this year. A leak that surfaced last month revealed that the iQOO 15 Pro’s display will be equipped with an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint scanner.
The iQOO 15 Pro is expected to draw power from a 7,000mAh capacity battery. Its rear camera setup is expected to include a periscope telephoto camera. The rest of its specs are under wraps.
