iQOO will be launching the iQOO 5 and iQOO 5 Pro smartphones in China on Aug. 17. The company recently confirmed that its collaboration with BMW M Motorsport will result in the launch of the special iQOO 5 BMW edition at the same unveil event. Most of the teasers that the company has released so far has revealed the front design of the iQOO 5 series. Today, it released a new poster that showcases the rear design of the phone.
In the new poster, a BMW car’s front design can be seen at the top. The same design elements and accents can be seen on the iQOO 5 series phone shown below. The company could be teasing the iQOO 5 BMW edition in the poster.
The image shows that the textured rear has a slightly broad triple camera setup at the top-left corner. The third lens in the setup is a periscope zoom lens. There is no official word on the camera configurations of the iQOO 5.
iQOO 5 and iQOO 5 Pro specifications
The iQOO 5 (V2024A) is believed to have a 6.56-inch flat AMOLED display whereas the iQOO 5 Pro could be coming with a 6.56-inch AMOLED display with curved edges. The iQOO 5 (V2025A) will come with support for 55W fast charging, whereas the Pro model will support 120W fast charging.
There is no word on the other differences of the iQOO 5 and iQOO 5 Pro. Both phones are powered by the Snapdragon 865 mobile platform.
