The Vivo V2024A model number was spotted for the first time in June when it appeared on Geekbench. At that time, it was speculated that it could be an iQOO branded device. In July, the smartphone received certification from the 3C authority of China. Today, the V2025A phone received certification from 3C. A leaked claimed that the V2025A model number belongs to the iQOO 5 Pro. Hence, it appears that the Vivo V2024A could be its vanilla model, the iQOO 5.
The Vivo V2024A’s Master Lu listing shows that its screen supports 1080 x 2376 pixels resolution. The Vivo X50 that debuted in June in China came with a flat display that measures 6.56 inches. Hence, there is a possibility that the iQOO 5 could be coming with a flat screen whereas the Pro model could be having a curved display as the company has been teasing.
The Master Lu listing further reveals that the Snapdragon 865 SoC powers the device. The clocking speeds confirm that it does not feature the new SD865+ chipset. The device has 8 GB of RAM. Even Geekbench listing of the phone had revealed that it has 8 GB of RAM. According to Master Lu, the 8 GB RAM variant of the phone has 128 GB of storage.
In the CPU test of Master Lu, the iQOO 5 scored 139,720 and in the GPU test, it scored 229,986. In memory and storage tests, it scored 43,734 and 66,963 points. It recorded 480,403 average score.
As it known through the 3C certification, the iQOO 5 has support for 55W fast charging. On the other side, the iQOO 5 Pro (V2025A) has support for 120W fast charging. The iQOO 5 and iQOO 5 Pro will launch on Aug. 17.
