Today, iQOO confirmed that it will be launching the iQOO 7 flagship phone on Jan. 11 in China. After the recently announced Xiaomi Mi 11 and Vivo X60 Pro+, it will be the third phone to debut with the all-new Snapdragon 888 onboard.
The launch date poster released by the brand states that the unveiling event of the iQOO 7 will be held at 7:30 PM (local time) on Jan. 11. The company is yet to spill any information on the specs of the device. However, it had released a poster in the previous week to reveal that there will be a special BMW version of the iQOO 7. Ahead of the launch, the smartphone is already up for pre-orders in China.
iQOO 7 Specifications (Rumoured)
Rumors have it that the iQOO 7 may borrow its display from the recently announced Vivo X60 series. Hence, it is likely to feature a 6.56-inch AMOLED display that offers a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen could be integrated with a fingerprint scanner.
It is speculated that the V2049A phone that was recently spotted at the 3C certification platform could be the upcoming iQOO 7 smartphone. The 3C listing had revealed that it could be shipping with a 120W fast charger. For photography, the iQOO 7 could be equipped with a triple camera setup led by an OIS assisted 48-megapixel lens.
The other details of the smartphone are currently under wraps. Hopefully, the rumor mill will reveal more information on it in the coming weeks.
