iQOO 9 series is scheduled to debut on Jan. 5 in China. With few days remaining for the launch, the Chinese manufacturer is busy teasing some of its key features. Today, the company confirmed the battery size and charging capabilities of the iQOO 9 lineup
As can be seen in the poster, the iQOO 9 series will be equipped with a 4,700mAh battery. It will come with support for 120W fast charging and 50W wireless charging. Reports have revealed that the lineup has two phones such as iQOO 9 and iQOO 9 Pro. It is unclear whether both models will be equipped with the same 4,700mAh battery.
The 50W wireless charging feature will be available only on the Pro model. The company recently confirmed that the iQOO 9 series will be equipped with the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset.
Past reports have revealed that the iQOO 9 Pro will be featuring a 6.78-inch curved edge AMOLED display that offers a Quad HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. On the other hand, the iQOO 9 may come with a 6.78-inch flat AMOLED FHD+ display that offers a 120Hz refresh rate. For an enhanced viewing experience, both models are expected to feature an independent display chip. The recently seen Geekbench listings of both models revealed that these devices may ship with up to 12 GB of RAM and Android 12 OS.
The iQOO 9’s rear camera setup may include a 50-megapixel Samsung GN5 main camera, which will be coupled with a 13-megapixel ultrawide lens with a 120-degree FOV and a 12-megapixel Sony IMX663 telephoto camera. On the other side, the Pro model’s triple camera unit may house a 50-megapixel Samsung GN5 primary shooter with gimbal OIS, a 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 ultrawide lens with a 150-degree FOV, and an OIS-assisted 16-megapixel camera with 2.5x optical zoom.
