iQOO will be launching the much awaited iQOO 5 series smartphones on August 17th next week. The iQOO 5 series smartphones as we know, will be the first commercially available smartphones to feature the blazing-fast 120W charging technology which promises a full charge within 15 minutes.
Right now, a new teaser released by iQOO also suggests that we might be able to see another surprise during the upcoming launch event. More specifically, the company could be launching an exclusive BWM M Motorsport edition smartphone for one of the iQOO 5 series smartphones – most likely its top-variant.
Just like what we’d seen on the OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition and OPPO Find X2 Pro Lamborghini Edition, the iQOO 5 BMW M Motorsport edition could arrive with a custom design along with a specially curated gift box.
From what we’d learned so far, the upcoming iQOO 5 will be powered by the flagship Snapdragon 865 SoC as revealed by one of the renowned Chinese benchmarking app. It will also feature an AMOLED display which boasts a buttery-smooth 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate.
Other than that, a recently leaked render also allegedly revealed that the upcoming iQOO 5 could be coming with a curved, hole-punch design this time round.
