iQOO has started teasing the arrival of the iQOO Neo 10 series of smartphones in China. Speculations are rife that the brand will unveil it by the end of this month. Tipster Digital Chat Station has already leaked the key specifications of the Neo 10 and Neo 10 Pro. Although both phones are expected to pack significantly larger batteries than their predecessors, their exact capacities have not been revealed yet. Today, tipster Digital Chat Station released a Weibo post to reveal the battery sizes of both phones along with some related information.
According to the tipster, the iQOO Neo 10 and Neo 10 Pro will feature a 6,100mAh silicon battery with 120W fast charging. The battery size is significantly larger than the 5,160mAh battery that powered the Neo 9 and Neo 9 Pro from last year.
The tipster also revealed that the major difference between the iQOO Neo 10 and Neo 10 Pro in the chipset department. Previous reports have revealed that the standard version will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, whereas the Pro edition will be driven by the Dimensity 9400 SoC.
Reports have also suggested that the two devices will also have a different rear camera setup. The Neo 10 is expected to feature a 50-megapixel + 8-megapixel dual-camera system, while the Pro model may arrive with a 50-megapixel + 50-megapixel dual-camera system. The megapixel count is the same on both devices as compared to the previous generation. It remains to be seen whether they feature different camera sensors.
Another noticeable difference could be that the Neo 10 will have an optical fingerprint sensor, whereas the Pro model may have an ultrasonic fingerprint reader. The tipster revealed in today’s leak that the weight of the iQOO Neo 10 series is basically the same as the previous generation. He also mentioned that the Origin OS 5 will offer a refined experience.
