In the previous week, iQOO unveiled the iQOO Neo 7 as an affordable flagship powered by the Dimensity 9000 Plus chipset for China. As per the company’s schedule, the device went on sale yesterday at 8 PM (local time) in China. iQOO has confirmed that the sales of the IQOO Neo 7 surpassed the 200,000 million Yuan mark in just one minute of making it available for purchase.
The iQOO Neo 7 is available in four options in China. The 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage models cost 2,699 Yuan ($369) and 2,999 Yuan ($410), respectively. On the other hand, the 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage and 12 GB RAM + 512 GB storage editions of the Neo 7 are priced at 3,299 Yuan ($452) and 3,599 Yuan ($493), respectively.
Since the company has confirmed that it achieved over 200 million yuan in sales of the Neo 7 in its first sale, it appears that the company may have sold 55,570 to 74,101 units of the phone. The device was made available for purchase through multiple platforms like Vivo China’s official website, JD.com, Suning, Tmall, and more. In the home market, the device is available for purchase in colors like Geometric Black, Impression Blue, and Pop Orange.
iQOO Neo 7 Specifications
The iQOO Neo 7 features a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with a punch-hole design. It produces a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a 120Hz refresh rate. On the front, it has a 16-megapixel selfie camera. On the back of the phone is a triple camera unit with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766V main camera with OIS, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro camera.
The Neo 7 is fuelled by the Dimensity 9000 Plus chipset, LPDDR5 RAM, and UFS 3.1 storage. To keep the lights on, it has a 5,000mAh battery with 120W rapid charging support. The device offers other features like the OrignOS Ocean UI flavored Android 13 OS and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
