iQOO has started teasing the arrival of the iQOO Neo 7. As can be seen in the image below, starting from today, the company is using the unannounced iQOO Neo 7 to compose posts on Weibo. It appears that the company will soon confirm its launch date. Chinese tipster Panda is Bald has claimed that the Neo 7 will be unveiled on Oct. 20.
Reports have claimed that the iQOO phone with the V2231A model number that has appeared in database of Geekbench and the 3C certification platform is the upcoming iQOO Neo 7. The Geekbench listing of the device revealed that it will come with the Dimensity 9000 Plus chipset, 12 GB of RAM, and Android 13 OS. The 3C’s appearance, on the other hand, revealed that the device will offer up to 120W fast charging.
The iQOO Neo 7 is rumored to arrive with a 6.78-inch Samsung AMOLED E5 display that offers a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device is likely to house a 4,700mAh battery. The Android 13 OS on the device is likely to be overlaid with an OriginOS UI.
The Neo 7 is likely to arrive with 8 GB / 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128 GB / 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The rear camera setup of the device may feature an OIS-enabled 50-megapixel Sony IMX766V main camera. A leaked photo of the alleged Neo 7 that surfaced recently in China suggested that its rear camera setup may include a periscope zoom lens.
The Neo 7 is likely to come equipped with other features such as NFC, IR blaster, and a linear motor. After the Neo 7, the company is expected to launch the iQOO Neo 7 SE and the iQOO 11 series in the coming months in China.
