Apart from the iQOO Neo5S, iQOO had also announced introduced another iQOO Neo5 series member known as the iQOO Neo5 SE that comes with a slightly more affordable launch price starting at just 2,199 Yuan (US$345) in the Chinese market.
Upfront, the iQOO Neo5 SE swaps the AMOLED display on the iQOO Neo5S with a FHD+ LCD panel instead. However, it does features a faster refresh rate of 144Hz over the 120Hz refresh rate on the latter.
At the back, it sports a triple-camera system comprising of a 50 megapixels main camera, 8 megapixels ultra-wide unit, as well as a 2 megapixels macro camera. This will be rounded out by a 16 megapixels front-facing camera for selfie and video calls.
Under the hood, the iQOO Neo5 SE is fueled by an octa-core Snapdragon 870 chipset which will be paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage in the memory department. That’s in fact the same chip that was also used in the March-announced iQOO Neo5.
Moving on, the phone is also backed by a respectable 4,500mAh battery with support for 55W fast wired charging. As usual, it’ll be shipped with the new OriginOS Ocean based on Android 11 out of the box.
