iQOO will be launching a new smartphone known as the iQOO Neo5 Vitality Edition in the Chinese market tomorrow. Interestingly, the official renders of the phone had already been listed on JD.com ahead of it’s launch.
As seen in the renders, the iQOO Neo5 Vitality Edition will be available in both Black and White colorways. Unlike the iQOO Neo5 that comes with a central hole-punch display, the iQOO Neo5 Vitality Edition has it’s hole-punch cutout located on the upper-right corner of the display instead. Since the phone comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, it’s likely to be a LCD panel instead of an AMOLED panel which was used in the iQOO Neo5.
Over on the flip-side, it also comes with a slightly redesigned rectangular camera island which brings along a triple-camera setup. These cameras are rumored to include a 48 megapixels main camera, 8 megapixels ultra-wide camera, as well as a 2 megapixels depth sensor. The front-facing camera on the other hand, is expected to be a 16 megapixels shooter.
Under the hood, the iQOO Neo5 Vitality Edition retains the same Snapdragon 870 chipset which is likely to be paired with at least 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage in the memory department.
To keep it’s light on, the phone will be fitted with a 4,430mAh battery which is expected to come with 44W fast-charging support based on the information listed on it’s 3C certification.
If rumors are true, then the iQOO Neo5 Vitality Edition could be priced at 1,999 Yuan (US$311), 2,299 Yuan (US$357) and 2,599 Yuan (US$404) respectively for it’s 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB and 12GB+256GB variants.
