Reports have claimed that iQOO is gearing up to launch the iQOO Neo6 in China. Today, the Chinese manufacturer has released an official confirmation that the iQOO Neo6 will be announced on April 13 in the home market. The device will succeed the iQOO Neo5 from last year.
iQOO is yet to reveal any information on the specs of the iQOO Neo6. Speculations are rife that a Vivo phone with model number V2196A that has been spotted on Geekbench and TENAA certification site will break cover as the iQOO Neo6. This device has also been certified by the 3C authority of China.
iQOO Neo6 specifications
The TENAA listing of the iQOO Neo6 has revealed that it will be equipped with a 6.62-inch AMOLED display that offers a Full HD+ resolution. The device is likely to carry support for a 120Hz refresh rate and an in-screen fingerprint scanner.
Shown here are the leaked renders of the phone. It shows the device sporting a flat display with a punch-hole design. Its rear side has a triple camera unit.
The iQOO Neo6 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. It is likely to come in two variants, such as 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage and 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. At present, there is no information available on the cameras of the Neo6.
The Neo6 is likely to house a 4,700mAh battery that will carry support for 80W rapid charging. The device measures 163 x 76.16 x 8.5mm and is likely to come in colors like black, blue, and orange.
