iQOO had already launched the iQOO Z5 and Z5x devices in the Chinese market and it’s therefore not surprising that people are now anticipating for the launch of the iQOO Z5 Pro.
However, according to a new rumor on Weibo, iQOO may not be launching A ”Pro” model within the current Z5 series lineup. Instead, it’s rumored to be prepping a new model known as the iQOO Neo6 SE.
While there wasn’t much details pertaining to this device, but it was mentioned that the phone is likely to be powered by the new Snapdragon 778G+ chipset which was recently announced by Qualcomm.
The new Snapdragon 778G+, according to Qualcomm, is a follow-up to the existing Snapdragon 778G chipset with boosted GPU and CPU performance, is designed to deliver cutting-edge mobile gaming and accelerated artificial intelligence (AI) to enable stunning photo and video experiences.
This basically means that the upcoming iQOO Neo6 SE is expected to offer comparatively better performance than the current Snapdragon 778G-powered smartphones including it’s own iQOO Z5.
Aside from it’s underlying chipset, it was also noted that the iQOO Neo6 SE is likely to be available in three different colorways, though the actual colors themselves weren’t revealed.
