Last month, there were reports suggesting that Vivo will be launching the V21 smartphone series in April next month. Once again, we can expect the upcoming V21 series to feature at least three models including the vanilla Vivo V21, Vivo V21 Pro, as well as Vivo V21 SE.
Earlier on, there were rumors that the Vivo V21 Pro will arrive as a rebranded model of the Vivo S9 which was launched in the Chinese market earlier this month. Now, a new IMEI listing has further revealed that the Vivo V21 SE could be also launched as a rebranded model of the iQOO U3 since both devices share the same model number.
As such, the Vivo V21 SE is expected to share largely the same specs as the iQOO U3. This include a 6.58” FHD+ LCD display, 90Hz refresh rate, Dimensity 800U, 5G connectivity, 48MP dual-rear cameras, 8MP selfie camera, 5,000mAh battery, as well as 18W fast-charging support.
Currently, the iQOO U3 is priced at 1,498 Yuan (US$229) and 1,698 Yuan (US$260) respectively for its 6GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB models in the Chinese market. However, we do expect the Vivo V21 SE to be priced slightly higher when it arrives in the global market.
