iQOO’s next smartphone will be the world’s first device to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ chipset. A Chinese tipster had revealed that the Dimensity 1000+ powered iQOO phone could be hitting the markets as iQOO Z1. The same tipster shared two images of the real smartphone.
Last year’s iQOO phones had sported waterdrop notch displays. This year, iQOO has already launched the iQOO 3 and iQOO Neo3 with punch-hole displays. Hence, it was already speculated that the iQOO Z1 could be also sporting a punch-hole display. The leaked image of the device reveals that the Z1 will be indeed sporting a round-shaped cutout at the top-right corner of its display.
The bezels surrounding the screen are quite thin, but its chin is comparatively thick. It is unclear whether the iQOO Z1’s display panel is an OLED or LCD panel. A closer look at the right edge of the device reveals a volume rocker and a side-facing fingerprint reader. Hence, it appears that the phone could be fitted with an LCD screen.
The other image of the iQOO Z1 reveals that it will be providing users with 60Hz, 90Hz, 120Hz and 144Hz refresh rate options. The new leak has no other details on its specs.
It is believed that the V1986A phone that was recently approved by the 3C authority of China could be the IQOO Z1 phone. The 3C listing revealed that it is a 5G phone and it may ship with a 44W fast charger.
