iQOO Z1x May Debut on July 2

iQOO is reportedly working on the launch of its first mid-range phone called the iQOO Z1x. As the name goes, it appears to be a weaker sibling of the Dimensity 1000+ powered iQOO Z1x that debuted last month. The rumor mill has revealed several details on the smartphone in the past few weeks. Today, a Chinese tipster claimed that the iQOO Z1x will be launching in the home market on July 2.

While iQOO is yet to confirm the existence of the iQOO Z1x, the leakster has claimed July 2 launch date for it. He has also speculated that the phone’s 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage edition could be priced at 1,398 Yuan. The pricing is just an assumption, but the phone is expected to debut as the cheapest Snapdragon 765G powered smartphone. Past reports have claimed that the iQOO Z1x could be also coming in 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage edition. Another tipster claimed that it will be launching within a week.

iQOO Z1x Specifications (Rumored)

Previous reports have revealed that the iQOO Z1x has a V2012A model number. The V2012A handset has been spotted at Geekbench and 3C certification earlier this month.

The iQOO Z1x is expected to come with a 6.57-inch IPS LCD display. While it is likely to feature a punch-hole design, contradictory reports say it may feature a waterdrop notch. The screen is expected to support a Full HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz.

The iQOO Z1x could be housing a 5,000mAh battery and it may arrive with 33W fast charging support. The rear shell of the phone could be fitted with a 48-megapixel triple camera unit.
