iQOO will be launching the iQOO Z3 5G smartphone in China on March 25. The handset was recently spotted at the Google Play Console listing with an SM7250 chipset by Qualcomm. Since the SM7250 model number is associated with Snapdragon 765, 765G, and 768G chipset, it was unclear which SoC could be fuelling the device. Today. the company officially confirmed that the iQOO Z3 is powered by the Snapdragon 768G chipset.
After the Redmi K30 5G Racing Edition that went official last year in China, the iQOO Z3 will be the second phone to feature the Snapdragon 768G mobile platform. Today’s poster also confirms that the SD768G chip will be accompanied by 8GB of RAM and UFS 2.2 storage.
Shown below are the official renders of the iQOO Z3 that has appeared in its reservation listings at Chinese retailer sites like JD.com, Tmall, and Suning. The predecessor iQOO Z1 sported a punch-hole screen, but the iQOO Z3 will be arriving with a teardrop notch display. It has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a triple camera system on the back.

According to a recent leak by Digital Chat Station, the iQOO Z3 will carry support for a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. However, there is no word on the exact size of the screen. The triple camera system of the iQOO Z3 may feature a 64-megapixel primary lens.
For snapping selfies, it may feature a 16-megapixel front camera. While there is no word on the battery capacity of the smartphone, its 3C listing revealed that it may carry support for 55W rapid charging. The handset is likely to arrive with a starting price of 1,799 Yuan (~$276).
