Recently, there were reports that iQOO will soon be launching a brand new Z-series smartphone dubbed as the iQOO Z5 Pro which was allegedly certified by the Chinese TENAA and 3C certification bodies recently.
Now, the same device had apparently been spotted on Geekbench along with some of it’s crucial specs that offer us a glimpse of the smartphone ahead of it’s actual unveiling.
According to the listing, the iQOO Z5 Pro will be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 778G chipset, just like the upcoming Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE smartphone which will be announced on September 15th this month.
Other than that, it was also revealed that the iQOO Z5 Pro will be featuring 8GB RAM in the memory department – though we do expect it to be available in some other RAM variants like 6GB.
While not officially confirmed, earlier leaks also suggest that the iQOO Z5 Pro could arrive with a 120Hz LCD display upfront, 64MP main camera, as well as a respectable 5,000mAh battery with 44W fast-charging support.
At the moment, there isn’t any words on the official launch date of the iQOO Z5 series smartphones. However, we do expect them to be unveiled in the forthcoming months.
