Reports have revealed that iQOO is working on a new smartphone with a 6,000mAh battery. This device is expected to launch on May 20 in China with the “iQOO Z5” moniker. This product is said to be different from the iQOO Z5 phone available in India and China. Today, a new iQOO phone with a V2188A model number surfaced in the database of China’s TENAA certification platform. The listing has revealed the entire specifications of the device.
iQOO Z5 specifications
The new iQOO Z5 has a 6.58-inch display that produces a Full HD+ resolution. The images of the phone are not yet available on TENAA’s database. The 5G-ready device is powered by an unknown 3GHz octa-core processor.
In all likelihood, the iQOO Z5 will be equipped with the Dimensity 1300. The TENAA listing further states that it will come with 6 GB / 8 GB / 12 GB of RAM and 128 GB / 256 GB / 512 GB of native storage.
There is no support for external storage on the device. Most likely, it will come preinstalled with iQOO UI based Android 12 OS. It packs a 6,000mAh battery. From the 3C listing of the device that have surfaced before, it is known that it will be able to support 44W fast charging.
In terms of optics, the upcoming iQOO Z5 has a 16-megapixel camera for snapping selfies and video calls. The back panel of the device has a 50-mgeapixel + 2-megapixel triple camera unit. The device will come equipped with a side-facing fingerprint scanner and an IR blaster.
The handset measures 163.87 x 75.33 x 9.21mm and weighs around 203 grams. A recently spotted poster of the phone revealed that it will come in black and orange colors.
