Last month, iQOO announced the iQOO Z5 smartphone in China. Recent reports have revealed that the company is gearing up to launch another Z-series phone called the iQOO Z5x. Today, the brand took to its Weibo handle to confirm that the iQOO Z5x will be made official on Oct. 20.
iQOO’s poster that confirms the launch date of the iQOO Z5x also teases its front and rear design. A closer look at the camera module of the phone reveals that it is equipped with a dual-camera system. For security, it features a side-facing fingerprint scanner.
It can be said based on recent reports that the iQOO phone with V2131A model number, which has been spotted at platforms like Geekbench, 3C, TENAA, and Google Play will be breaking cover in the Chinese market as the iQOO Z5x. It is likely to be positioned lower than the Snapdragon 778G powered iQOO Z5.
iQOO Z5x Specifications (Expected)
The iQOO Z5x has a 6.58-inch TFT panel that delivers an FHD+ resolution. It has a selfie camera of 8-megapixel, and its rear shell has a 50-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual-camera system. The phone will run on iQOO UI based Android 11.
The Dimensity 900 chipset will be powering the iQOO Z5x. It will come with 8 GB / 12 GB of RAM and 128 GB / 256 GB of storage. The handset may house a 5,000mAh battery, which may carry support for 44W rapid charging. At present, there is no information available on the pricing of the Z5x.
