The iQOO Z5x is scheduled to go official on Oct. 20 in China. Ahead of the launch, the Chinese manufacturer has confirmed the chipset and battery capacity of the smartphone.
iQOO has revealed that the iQOO Z5x is powered by the Dimensity 900 chipset, and it draws power from a 5,000mAh battery. As it can be seen, the Z5x will be available in at least orange and black colors.
Past reports have revealed that the iQOO smartphone with V2131A, which has been spotted at the Google Play Console, Geekbench, TENAA, and 3C, is the upcoming iQOO Z5x. It is speculated to be positioned lower than the iQOO Z5, which debuted with the Snapdragon 778G in the previous month.
iQOO Z5x Specifications (Expected)
The iQOO Z5x has a 6.58-inch TFT panel with a centrally positioned punch-hole. It produces a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a 20:9 aspect ratio. Probably, it will come with support for at least a 90Hz refresh rate. The device is fitted with an 8-megapixel front camera. Its back panel has a 50-megapixel main camera and a 2-megapixel secondary lens.
The Dimensity 900 SoC will be coupled with up to 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of built-in storage. The 3C certification of the device has revealed that it may come with 44W fast charging for its 5,000mAh battery.
In related news, iQOO has another phone with model number V2136GA waiting to go official in China. Reports have revealed that it has a 6.56-inch AMOLED FHD+ curved edge display, a 16-megapixel front camera, 48-megapixel triple rear cameras, Snapdragon 888, up to 12 GB of RAM, up to 256 GB of storage, and a 4,500mAh battery that supports 120W rapid charging.
