The iQOO Z8 is expected to launch in early September in India. The specifications of the smartphone have emerged in bits and pieces. In a new Weibo post, tipster Digital Chat Station shared almost the entire specifications of the device. Here is a look at what to expect from it.
According to DCS, the forthcoming iQOO Z8 will arrive with a 6.64-inch flat LCD display that produces a Full HD+ resolution of 2388 x 1080 pixels. It is likely to support a 120Hz refresh rate, although the tipster has not stated it in the leak. The phone will run on an OriginOS 3.0-based Android 13.
On the photography front, the Z8 will feature a 16-megapixel front camera. Its rear panel is expected to house a dual-camera module, consisting of a 64-megapixel main sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) support and a 2-megapixel macro lens. It will have a side-fitted fingerprint sensor.
The iQOO Z8 is said to house the Dimensity 8200 chipset and is expected to arrive in two RAM variants, such as 8 GB and 12 GB RAM. The leaker has not mentioned the storage configuration of the device. As per a previous leak, the Z8’s topmost model will arrive with 512 GB of storage, implying potential alternatives of 128 GB and 256 GB storage options.
The Z8 smartphone is expected to pack a 5,000mAh battery and support 120W rapid charging . There is no information about the price of the device or its global release. The Z8 is expected to arrive in China in colors like black, blue, and green.
