iQOO has recently launched the iQOO Neo 9S Pro and Neo 9S Pro+ smartphones in China. Both devices feature the Dimensity 9300 Plus and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipsets, respectively. Recent leaks have revealed that the brand is considering expanding the Z9 series in China, which already includes multiple models, such as the Z9x, Z9, and Z9 Turbo. The brand is reportedly working on the Dimensity 9300 Plus powered iQOO Z9 Turbo+. Tipster Digital Chat Station has shared some new information about the Turbo+ phone.
iQOO Z9 Turbo+ launch time, key specs (rumored)
According to the leaker, the iQOO Z9 Turbo+ will debut in September or October of this year. This means that the Dimensity 9300-Plus powered phone may arrive just before the launch of the Dimensity 9400, which is expected to be held in October.
The tipster revealed that the model number of the iQOO Z9 Turbo+ is V2417A. He added that the device hasn’t received approval from any of the Chinese certification platforms yet.
DCS added that the Z9 Turbo+ will be equipped with a dual-core chip system, equipped with the D9300+ chip and a dedicated chip for managing graphics. It will have a flat OLED panel that offers a 1.5K resolution and a massive silicon battery.
The Z9 Turbo+’s other details are still unknown. Likely, it will be a cost-effective, performance-focused smartphone. Other markets have not received any of the iQOO Z9 series of smartphones launched in China. Therefore, the global release of the Z9 Turbo+ remains uncertain.
