Earlier this year, iQOO unveiled the iQOO Z9 Turbo and Z9 Turbo+ in the Chinese market. These phones came equipped with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 and Dimensity 9300 Plus chipsets, respectively. Today, the brand confirmed that it will soon unveil the iQOO Z9 Turbo Long-Lasting Version this month in China.
iQOO Z9 Turbo Long-Lasting Version design, launch timeframe
According to the iQOO Product Manager, who goes by the Weibo name Walking Orange Q, the iQOO Z9 Turbo Long-Lasting Version is not a new product iteration but a new version of the existing Z9 Turbo series phone. However, it is unclear whether it is a new version of the Z9 Turbo or Turbo+.
Apart from the usual black and white shades, the Z9 Turbo Long-Lasting Version will come in a new blue option, as seen in the image above. Additionally, the device will pack a larger battery than the Z9 Turbo.
The above poster also confirms that the iQOO Z9 Turbo Long-Lasting Version will be announced by early January 2025 in China. Hopefully, the brand will share some more details about the phone in the next few days.
In related news, iQOO has recently launched the iQOO 13 in China as well as other markets. The brand has also recently unveiled the iQOO Neo 10 and Neo 10 Pro. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Dimensity 9400 chipsets, respectively, power these devices. Rumors are suggesting that the Neo 10 Pro might only be available in the Chinese market, while the Neo 10 might undergo a rebranding to become the Neo 10 Pro for the global market.
