Earlier this week, iQOO released an official confirmation that it will announce the iQOO Z9 Turbo+ later this month in China. However, the brand hasn’t disclosed anything else about the device. A leaker has revealed key details about the device.
The iQOO Z9 Turbo launched earlier this year in China features the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset. Speculations have claimed that the Z9 Turbo+ could be equipped with a Dimensity 9300 Plus chipset. It is also expected to pack a bigger battery than the Z9 Turbo.
In the new leak, tipster Panda is Balda revealed that the Z9 Turbo+ will pack a massive 6,400mAh battery with 80W rapid charging. The leak also suggests that the device may go official on Sept. 24. This appears to be in line with a previous leak by tipster Digital Chat Station, who claimed that the Z9 Turbo+ will be announce in the second half of this month.
The rest of the iQOO Z9 Turbo+ specifications are likely to be identical to the Z9 Turbo. Therefore, it may arrive with a 6.78-inch OLED screen with a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate, a 16MP selfie camera, a 50-megapixel (main) + 8-megapixel (ultra-wide) dual camera system, and OriginOS 4-based Android 14. For security, it will have an in-screen fingerprint sensor.
At present, the phone is now available for reservations in China. However, there is no information available about the RAM and storage configuration of the Z9 Turbo+. It is unclear whether the device will be released in markets outside of China.
