iQOO Z9 series is in the works for the Chinese market. According to tipster Digital Chat Station’s latest Weibo post, the lineup will include two devices, such as the iQOO Z9 and the iQOO Z9x.
iQOO Z9, iQOO Z9x specifications (rumored)
According to the leaker, the iQOO Z9 will arrive with a flat OLED display that offers 2800 x 1260 pixels (1.5K) resolution. On the other hand, the Z9x will have an LCD panel. While the leaker has not mentioned it, it is likely to feature the same 6.64-inch IPS LCD panel that offers an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
The Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset will power the iQOO Z9, but it appears that the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset will be in the Z9x. Both devices are said to house a massive 6,000mAh battery.
The leaker did not share any details on the other specs of the iQOO Z9 series. It is likely that both devices may launch in March in the home market.
In related news, iQOO is also gearing up to launch a different iQOO Z9 in India on March 12. It is said to feature a 120Hz OLED display and the Dimensity 7200 chipset. It may house a 5,000mAh battery with 44W fast charging support. For photography, it is expected to feature a Sony IMX882 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS support. The device is expected to arrive in two shades, such as green and blue.
