The iQOO Z9s series phone, as seen above, features a squricle camera module that appears to house a dual-camera setup and a ring LED flash. At present, the brand has not revealed anything else about the series. Furthermore, there is no clarity about the number of devices that are included in the Z9s series. What’s known is that it will be announced in August in the country.

Rumors suggest that the iQOO Z9s could be a rebranded or a slightly modified version of the iQOO Z9 5G, which is available in China. Readers should note that the Chinese Z9 is different from the Dimensity 7200-powered iQOO Z9 5G, which debuted a few months ago in India.

In related news, an upcoming Vivo smartphone with the I2305 model number has emerged on Geekbench. This model, which appears to be equipped with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, seems to be one of the upcoming Z9s series phones. The Geekbench listing also revealed that the device has 12 GB of RAM and Android 14.

The iQOO Z9 5G available in China has a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with support for a 1.5K resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and an in-screen fingerprint sensor. It features the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, up to 12 GB of LPDDR4x RAM, up to 512 GB of UFS 2.2 storage, and a 6,000mAh battery with 80W rapid charging support.

The device features a 16-megapixel front camera for selfies. Its rear camera setup has a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel depth assist lens. The device runs on OriginOS 4-based Android 14.
