We all know Huawei is prepping to announce their latest Ascend Mate 3 phablet in September during the IFA event held in Berlin. Today, it seems like the device’s specifications has already been spotted at AnTuTu Benchmark where its being disguised as Huawei MT7-TL00.
Like any of the Ascend Mate phablets, the Ascend Mate 3 will still be coming with a 6.1″ display but has a higher resolution at 1080p this time round. Similarly, the Ascend Mate 3 also seems to have a much improved spec sheet as compared to the past 2 generation’s.
According to AnTuTu Benchmark, the phablet will be powered by a 8-cores HiSilicon Kirin 920 chipset along with 2/3 GB of RAM. In case you do not know, this chipset is apparently the same as the one found in the latest Huawei Honor 6 handset.
Next up, the Ascend Mate 3 will also be rocking a 13MP camera at the back capable of recording FHD videos, as well as a 5MP shooter at the front for selfies. Software side, the phablet will be running on the Android 4.4.2 KitKat firmware but will definitely be upgraded to Android L sooner or later.
That’s all we have for the Ascend Mate 3 at the moment, but we’ll definitely keep you updated once there is new leaks or rumors on the phablet!
