Indian smartphone brand Lava has announced it’s first 5G offering known as the Lava AGNI 5G that carries a pretty attractive launch price of just INR17,999 (US$243).
The Lava AGNI 5G builds around a large 6.78” IPS LCD display with FHD+ screen resolution and a smooth 90Hz refresh rate. On top of that, the front display is also covered with a layer of Gorilla Glass 3 to protect it against accidental drops or scratches.
At the back, the phone sports a rectangular camera bump which brings along a total of four cameras including a 64 megapixels wide camera, 5 megapixels ultra-wide lens, as well as a pair of 2 megapixels cameras for macro and depth information.
Under the hood, the phone is driven by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 810 chipset along with 8GB RAM and 128GB built-in storage which supports memory expansion via a microSD card.
To keep it’s lights on, the phone gets it’s power supply via a respectable 5,000mAh battery which carries support for 30W fast-charging. It also features a 3.5mm headphone jack as well as a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication.
Unlike majority of the Android smartphones in the market, the Lava AGNI 5G is among the few to boot on stock Android 11 OS out of the box. The device is available in a single Fiery Blue colorway.
