Chinese electronic giant Lava has announced a new budget-friendly smartphone known as the Lava Benco V80 which will be first made available in the Thai market for just 2,890 Baht (US$91).
The Lava Benco V80 features a 6.5” IPS LCD display which offers a HD+ screen resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, as well as a 20:9 tall aspect ratio. On top of that, it also gets a dewdrop-notch upfront which houses an 8 megapixels front-facing shooter for selfie and video-calling purposes.
Around the back of the phone, it sports a squarish camera island which is home to an 8 megapixels main camera alongside an unspecified secondary shooter. Similarly, it also has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication too.
Under the hood, the Lava Benco V80 is powered by an octa-core Unisoc SC9863 chipset which is paired with up to 4GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage that can be further expanded via a microSD card.
To keep it’s lights on, the Lava Benco V80 draws power from a respectable 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging speed. On the software-end, the phone will be shipped with Android 11 out of the box.
For those who’re interested, the Laca Benco V80 is available in both Greenish Silver and Cyan Blue.
