To commemorate the company’s forth anniversary, OnePlus had confirmed that the company will begin selling the highly anticipated Lava Red OnePlus 5T starting December 17th in China. The Lava Red variant will be the second color option available for purchase in the mainland aside from the Midnight Black version which had went on sale at the beginning of the month.
Similar to the current Midnight Black model, the Lava Red OnePlus 5 will still carry the 3,499 Yuan ($529) price tag for the 8GB+128GB high-end model. However, unlike the Midnight Black model, the Lava Red variant is available only in limited units and will be sold in a first come, first-serve basis.
Sad to say, the Lava Red OnePlus 5 is exclusive only to the Chinese market so there’s probably no way to get one for yourself from the local retailer. However, if you’re willing to fork out a little bit more, then you could be able to land one via various online retailers like GearBest or OppoMart.
OnePlus 5T Specifications
In case you’d missed out, the OnePlus 5 comes with a 6.01-inches FHD+ Optic AMOLED display which is powered by a Snapdragon 835 SoC along with 6GB of RAM and 64GB/ 128GB internal storage space under its memory compartment. At the back of the device, there is a 16MP+20MP dual-camera setup which is paired with a 16MP front-facing selfie cam. Under the rear chassis, it houses a 3,300mAh non-removable battery which supports OnePlus own Dash Charge feature capable of charging the battery from 0% to 100% in just 30 minutes.
